Owen's 2

This sweet little boy turned 2 on the day of his session. It was a true birthday session. He's the cutest thing ever. I love when they're squeezable like this. It was only about 105 degrees and the grass felt like knives, but all in all an awesome session, with beautiful light. (Sigh!)

Had to grab a few of sweet sister Olivia. Look how adorable she is.

Summertime, brothers, and baseball

These two little boys are the cutest fellers ever. They kept me laughing. Their eyes are incredible. I love when little boys have eyes that express their mischievousness, kindness, and sweet personalities.

Farragut High School Senior Class of 2013

I'm loving all these 2013 seniors. Colby is such a handsome young man and I think he would make a great wolf in the Twilight movies. I am right, aren't I?  Okay, yeah, I'm a nerd. Anyway, Colby was a great sport and he humored more than any normal person would have.I'm so proud of the young man he's become and I know he's momma and daddy are too

Emery's Two Years Old

Emery was my very first newborn and was an absolute dream to photograph. It's so hard to believe she's two. She's been a regular at CYP since the newborn session. We have an up and down relationship though. She adores me as long as I don't have the camera. It's the funniest thing ever. Here are a few of my faves from her 2 year session. I want to say thank you to Morgan for allowing me the pleasure of two years worth of photos. Emery is one of my fave subjects.

I love the serious looks kids can offer.

Love this!!!!

Live Action!!

The Hatmaker crew are some of my best clients. I see them quite regularly because their momma just loves having pictures made, the kids, not so much. But....they're generally good sports about it and after a few warming up minutes they're pros. Although, the pics were for Jake's 4th birthday we snagged a few of the other kids. Of course like most little boys, Jake's got his favorite superhero. Ever heard of the turtle man? Yep, that's who he likes. It's kind of funny. If you've never saw the show"Call of the Wildman"  it comes on the Discovery Channel and is pretty entertaining. Anyway, we didn't catch any turtles but we got to play in a creek, so that's a win for anybody. Happy Birthday Jake!!! You are by far the coolest 4 year old I know.

Live Action!!!

Pretty girl, Lacie. She's so cute.

Big Brother Brady, all smiles.

The Smith's

A family with five kids.......

It's always interesting to have large families. Keep in my mind I only have one child, so a family with more than two is large in my opinion. The Smith's have five kids. All unique. It was interesting to say the least but I think we got through the session pretty good and kept almost everyone happy. This family is really beautiful and super sweet. I imagine they have a lot of fun together.

Heat Wave ~~~~~~

Shew-weee!! It's sure been hot. The last few weeks have been super crazy busy, so I'm gonna do a little catch up on the 'ole blog. Normally, I only schedule regular sessions/family sessions from the end of March through the first of June, and then again at the end of September through the first November. This year though I've been insanely busy all through summer. Finally, slowing down though and going to take a few days to relax. So, I said I was catching up and you'll see several posts but that's how I roll.

This is a special little family that I go to church with and I love them so much. Unfortunately, little Sam was not feeling up to pictures on the day we did their session. We didn't know it at the time but he was coming down with a pretty bad bug. It was one of those "work with what you have" days and so that's what I did. Haha!!! Sweet Molly was more accommodating to me. Thanks guys for inviting me to your home.
